OFAI is primarily a farmer-oriented association, AIOI represents organic industry businesses, and ICCOA works with organic farmers, FPOs and agribusiness stakeholders.
These bodies offer access to seed companies, manufacturers, farm machinery suppliers, crop-protection businesses and allied agricultural technology companies.
AIFPA, PFNDAI and IFBA are especially relevant to processed foods, ingredients, nutrition, food technology and regulatory discussions. The horticultural societies are more suitable for technical sessions and scientific participation.
These organisations cover cooperative and private dairies, veterinary products, animal health, livestock feed, poultry farms, breeders and poultry equipment companies.
AFST(I) also has chapters in Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Parbhani and other Maharashtra cities.
Particularly valuable: MAHAFPC represents a network of farmer producer organisations, while the Maharashtra grape growers’ association offers direct access to horticulture growers.
The MCCIA Food Processing Committee is an especially relevant local contact for connecting growers, food processors and technology businesses.
